Mute Monday: ENERGY
I won't have the inner-nets from 9-4 tomorrow, so I thought I'd put my entry up really really early. I WILL get to everyone's eventually. Next week's reader-selected theme is SCIENCE.

I recently learned that the #2 dog-breed after pit-bulls that gets abandoned are Australian Cattle Dogs. Apparently MORONS buy them because they're sorta cute and they're rated as the smartest dogs.
Then they discover that the breed needs a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. Something they're too LAZY and STUPID to give them.
If you're a couch potato, buy a FREAKING GOLDFISH!

ever since mad max ive loved those aussie cattle dogs. what a cool coat they have! but like you say, you gotta select a dog that fits your lifestyle. i mean, we WANTED a dog no fence could contain; that would drive all other life forms out of our yard; destroy all toys in 5.8 seconds and talk incessantly. grrrrrrrherhahahaha

Well...it will be up later. I'm having technical difficulties. ie someone else's computer. See it late tonight, early tomorrow morning Pacific time.
People never do enough research before picking a dog... believe me, I was one of them. Then I decided to start rescuing.
I'm not up this week, but I love your choice of pure energy. I love all these beautiful faces.

I know what you mean about Australian Cattle dogs, a true working breed. Plus they are big on barking. They make the Energizer Bunny look lazy.
