The Troll-In-Chief maintains the right to rant about putrid rap "music" rave about new culinary concepts and write brilliantly about all sorts of interesting stuff.
I have seen the NYPD mug shots before and they still are freakin spooky to look at. In the 60's and the 70's dope seemed so much tamer and less destructive.
Muslib judges who told her she was a "victim of society" instead of an irresponsible criminal selfish biotch.
NYD,
To a large extent it WAS weaker, tamer, less destructive and further removed from criminal scumdogs back then. Today's pot is about 17 as potent as 70s pot.
Good message there Troll. I like the progression photo. I watched a special on A&E a few weeks ago on some meth users from Alabama and it showed a age progressive photo. In five years one woman looked to have aged 40 years. It was terrible. In another sad example, a girl that I grew up with, who was actually a friend of my husbands in college, took a wayward path in life, Years of partying lead her to harder things, and sadly she died a few months ago. She was less than 40. We saw a crime photo of her on a county jail web site (where again, drugs took her) and did not recognize her. If I didnt know better I would've guessed she was in her seventies. So sad. So very sad. Yet a very real example.
anyway, my D is up and I wasnt mute.. Sorry. http://lbratina.blogspot.com/2008/09/mute-monday.html
Now I am off to look for a "Don Johnson" on your blog!
Have a happy MM and a wonderful week on the island.
meth scares me. theres a lot of it up in the woods. weve got people cooking it up in the national wilderness putting forest treasure at risk. its ugly.
sobering MM.
im not up yet just found your comment at K9 and came over to see what you were doing
No vowels? What am I going to do with all these pics of the Starship Enterprise? The drugs thing really scares me. My daughter asked me recently to tell her my worst drug-related story. She seemed genuinely amazed that I didnt have such a thing having never taken any. Now that really was quite shocking :( Im Up...
My daughter, who lives in a top flat, has just had crackheads moving in below her. She's scared stiff, but very quickly managed to find another place to live
She's lucky.
Thanks for the visit. They are not videos Mr Troll, but a radio serial. Just click on the play sign.

Some very sad images there, Troll...especially the "side by sides". Happy MM, and welcome back. We're up.
P.S. Bourdain has his own blog.
The sixth image down – so what's WRONG with this picture that she has TWELVE mug shots? Depressing is right. Happy Mute Monday? Oh, I'm up.

Oh forgot. I'm up...Kind of.
JJ,
Drugs are sad but I thought some were funny too.

Leigh,
Maybe the earlier you see it, the better. When I was in HS, one of my human friend's older brothers got into what they called "angel dust" back then.
Went from a State Karate Champion to a zombie squirrel in about 6 months.
Bankrupted the family trying to find a "cure" for brain damage.
