My father rode a Harley for years. So for years, that's how me and my brother got to school – squeezed on the back of the thing. That was, of course, long before helmet and seat belt and child endangerment laws :o). So although I have grown up to be strictly British all the way (Triumph, BSA) I have a soft spot for the hawgs. Oh, and I'm up!
You may be shocked, but Lady Jane has ridden a Harley Fat Boy (in her opinion the only REAL motorycle out there) and fell in loooooooove. I dream of him often.
Never cared for Harleys. In HS, I rode a Honda CB350...I know, not very studly. On the positive side, it was fun zipping past those broken down harleys on the side of the road.
One day I'll open a combination Harley Davidson/GMC truck dealership. A bike to look good on and a truck to haul it around in.
Yrah, I was thinking today I should get a big bike. It must be that age thing - you know a sporty 2 plus 2, or a big bike. All the bikers were out with their bikes yesterday Sunday - in sunny england.
If it were about the hits, then a quick check shows that MMs are consistently scoring higher than the rest... but if not, then maybe a vote is a good idea or maybe someone else might be keen to run with it for a while.
